The story behind the bee

Inspired by Friday afternoons and an acoustic guitar

Bee Here With Me began with a high school student's visits to a memory care community, where she sang and played acoustic guitar for residents experiencing Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory loss.

Those visits prompted a question: How can families feel a little more confident and connected when spending time with someone they love?

The answer became Bee Here With Me: a free app created to offer simple ways to connect during a visit.

Built with care, shared with love.

Because being present is a gift, even when memories change.

Care communities & support groups
